The Indigenous Advocate Teacher's number one priority is to support Indigenous students academically and socially as they transition through school. The Indigenous Advocate teacher also works with Indigenous students, non-indigenous students and staff in their school to develop individual indigenous student's sense of identity and belonging through cultural support and events.
